MANILA, PHILIPPINES â The 31st edition of FĂȘte de la Musique Philippines continues to build momentum as organizers announce the addition of two distinguished Filipino artists to the FĂȘtePH2025 Main Stage lineup. Set to take place on June 21 at Ayala Triangle Gardens in Makati City, the celebration will now feature Filipino music icon Ely Buendia and The Methodists alongside celebrated singer-songwriter Armi Millare.

Ely Buendiaâs inclusion in the Main Stage lineup comes at a particularly significant moment in his artistic journey. Following the November 2024 release of his sophomore solo album Method Adaptor, the Eraserheads frontman is poised to present material that explores themes of rebellion, self-discovery, and personal authenticity. The album represents a continuation of Buendiaâs artistic evolution, blending his established rock sensibilities with experimental elements that demonstrate his ongoing creative growth.
Singer-songwriter Armi Millareâs addition to the lineup introduces another dimension of musical sophistication to the event. Known for her distinctive vocal style and thoughtful songwriting approach, Millareâs performance is anticipated to showcase her signature blend of indie-pop sensibilities and soulful melodic structures.

The timing of her FĂȘtePH2025 appearance coincides with preparations for her upcoming solo album South Node, which features current singles âWhatever,â âSay It Again,â and âRoots.â Her Main Stage set is expected to incorporate both established favorites and previews of her forthcoming work.
These additions complement an already diverse roster that spans multiple genres and cultural backgrounds. The complete lineup includes Filipino acts Brigada, Janine, Brass Pas Pas Pas Pas featuring Leanne and Naara, James Reid, The Ridleys, and Tarsius x Ena Mori, alongside international performers Ito Kashitaro from Japan and Emile Londonien from France.
The programming extends beyond the Main Stage with performances by TFrank Ely and Zsaris, Bolivian Pop artist Bling Bling Papaya, and Singapore-based Filipino queer artist Marian Carmel, demonstrating the festivalâs commitment to representing varied musical expressions and cultural perspectives.
FĂȘtePH2025 represents more than a single-day music event; it serves as the Philippine iteration of the global FĂȘte de la Musique movement, which celebrates music as a universal language and cultural bridge. The festivalâs free admission policy ensures accessibility while its diverse programming reflects the multicultural nature of contemporary Filipino music.
The event is presented by Alliance Française de Manille in partnership with the Embassy of France to the Philippines, Funkybeat Entertainment, and Anam Kara.
