Two of Original Pilipino Music’s (OPM) most beloved icons are heading to the heart of California’s wine country for a night of music, stories, and nostalgia. On Friday, June 6, 2025, at 8:00 p.m., the Chumash Casino Resort in Santa Ynez, California will host the U.S. kickoff of “Love, Q&A”, a concert series featuring award-winning songwriter Odette Quesada and multi-hyphenate performer Ogie Alcasid.

The show marks a rare onstage reunion for the two musical legends, whose careers have shaped the Filipino pop soundscape for over four decades. “Love, Q&A” is more than a performance—it’s a celebration of timeless OPM hits that have endured across generations.

A Night of Classics and Connection

Known for penning some of the most enduring anthems of love and longing—“Till I Met You,” “Friend of Mine,” “To Love Again”—Odette Quesada has carved a legacy as one of the Philippines’ most accomplished songwriters. Her music defined the sound of young love in the 1980s and continues to resonate with listeners today.

Sharing the stage with her is Ogie Alcasid, the powerhouse balladeer and television host behind hits like “Nandito Ako,” “Sa Kanya,” and “Kailangan Ko’y Ikaw.” With his unmistakable voice and comedic charm, Alcasid brings depth, humor, and sincerity to every performance.

Together, the duo promises an unforgettable evening of melodic storytelling, heartwarming banter, and audience favorites. “This show is about bringing back the feelings that made these songs unforgettable,” Quesada shared in a recent interview. “It’s about reminding ourselves how music brings people together.”

The Chumash Experience

The Chumash Casino Resort is a fitting venue for a night steeped in memory and elegance. Located along Highway 246 in the scenic Santa Ynez Valley, the resort is known for its high-end amenities and top-tier entertainment. Its Samala Showroom, an intimate concert venue, has hosted an impressive roster of international performers—and now, it welcomes two of the Philippines’ most celebrated music icons.

Owned and operated by the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Mission Indians, the resort offers a 24/7 casino, luxury accommodations, fine dining, and breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and hills—making it a destination in its own right.

Fans attending Love, Q&A can enjoy not just the concert, but also a full evening of leisure, comfort, and cultural celebration.

Tickets and Availability

Tickets for the Chumash Casino Resort show are available via chumashcasino.com/entertainment, with seating expected to fill quickly as fans across California and beyond plan to gather for this special one-night performance.

As Quesada and Alcasid take the stage under the soft lights of the Samala Showroom, they’ll be doing more than just performing songs—they’ll be reviving memories, celebrating musical heritage, and honoring the voices of a generation.
